AIRFEL GENERAL MANAGER Mr HASAN ÖNDER has been awarded with “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2006 in the Stars of the Year survey conducted by Ekovitrin Magazine. Mr Hasan Önder received his award from the former Interior Minister Mr Abdülkadir Aksu during a ceremony organized with the participation of Minister of State Mr Kürşad Tüzmen on July 13th. Hasan Önder, AIRFEL General Manager,, has been named ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ for 2006 in “Stars of the Year” survey traditionally conducted each year by Ekovitrin Magazine. Awards were presented to the winners during the ceremony held with the participation of Minister of State Mr Kürşad Tüzmen on July 13th, 2007. The event arranged in Conference Hall of Turkish Exporters Assembly brought successful names from business world, economy and local administration together. Hasan Önder received his award from the former Interior Minister Mr Abdülkadir Aksu who honored the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” ceremony with his presence. Mr Hasan Önder was nominated by Ekovitrin due to his success in bringing AIRFEL, an affiliated company of Sanko Holding, to the forefront of heating and cooling industry. He has been awarded with “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2006 as a result of the voting performed by the magazine readers. The successful names, institutions and organizations which have made great contributions to the administration, improvement, development and promotion of Turkey are awarded through “Stars of the Year” survey. The nominee, out of a total of three for each category, who obtains the majority of votes, wins the award. Having expressed that he was very happy to receive “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award, Mr Hasan Önder emphasized that he accepted the award on behalf of all AIRFEL family. Mr Önder stated that “this award is received thanks to the support of Sanko Holding to the projects and the devotion of our colleagues.” About Hasan Önder... Born in Diyarbakır in1969, Hasan Önder completed his high school education in İzmir Maltepe Military High School. Having graduated from ITU Mechanical Engineering in 1994, Önder worked in an engineering company for a while. He founded HACE Engineering Company in 1994. The company dealing predominantly with natural gas transformation projects made progress within short time. Having lived in Singapore for one year during 1998, Önder specialized in Far East market. Having returned to Turkey, he established Akfel Industrial Marketing Inc in 1999. Akfel established to operate in heating, cooling and ventilation sector continued its activities under the roof of Sanko Holding in 2001. 2 companies and 4 production plants specialized in sales, marketing, production and after-sales services are under the responsibility of Önder, who works as a founding partner and general manager.
